Irakli Machabeli
SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT
Mr. Machabeli is a Managing Director of Software Development for Obra Capital. Prior to joining Obra in 2025, Mr. Machabeli worked at Sculptor Capital (formerly known as Och-Ziff) for over 15 years, where he oversaw quantitative modeling, data analytics, and software development for applications across various structured credit asset classes. Previously, Mr. Machabeli was a quantitative developer for mortgage strategy research at Barclays Capital. He also held positions at Bear Stearns, LHS Systems in Frankfurt, Germany, and the Tbilisi Interbank Currency Exchange in Georgia. Mr. Machabeli holds an MBA from Tbilisi State University and is a PhD Candidate in Applied Mathematics from the same institution.
